I haven’t been to the dentist for a long time
Often some patients find themselves reluctant to make appointments because so much time has passed since their last dental examination.
We understand you may feel embarrassed to admit to your dentist that you haven’t had a dental cleaning in a long time.
If it has been a few years, coming in now will make a huge difference to your mouth.
After a lapse in dental treatment, often plaque will have built up from your teeth which we will remove and if you have not been flossing, there might be a little bleeding from the gums.
This is all completely normal and you do not need to worry.
I’m really nervous
New patients should expect to spend a few minutes prior to the dental examination with filling out some paperwork so that we can get to know you and your dental history.
You can jot any questions down you might have for the dentist on a piece of paper beforehand.

We endeavour to develop an understanding of our patients wishes, situation and personality to help establish an individually appropriate dental treatment plan.
If you have any concerns at all or have any dental questions, we are here to help.
